Francesca Taylor
Pianist and longtime Opera aficionado, Dr. Taylor creates delightful opera experiences for children and youth as the founder and producer of Opera Italia ~ Los Angeles. With colleagues in Italy and Mexico, she acquires adaptable works for new young audiences and students, and contributes these to Young Opera Theater's offerings.

Music Director and Conductor of Opera Italia ~ Los Angeles, Mr. Chan dedicates his talent and time to the music of opera both classic and modern. His solid background in teaching and coaching singers and vocalists brings vital expertise to Young Opera Theater.

Ms. Giagni has given many years of service to the City of Los Angeles, and served in the Cultural Affairs Department. With a background in library and archival expertise, she lends support to Young Opera Theater's growing literature of classes and studies.

Graduate of California State University Long Beach and Bob Cole Conservatory of Music, with degree in Vocal Performance
Ms. Moody has taught YOT's Opera Fantastica Inaugural Class, and has sung both Chorus and Principal roles for Opera Italia ~ Los Angeles
leeza yorke
Ms. Yorke earned her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance with a Minor in Italian Studies from Indiana University, Bloomington and Master’s degree from Cal State University, Fullerton. She is Principal Instructor for YOT's upcoming Opera Magica Summer Camp, Theme TURANDOT

Young Opera Theater was founded in 2023 in Los Angeles as an educational entity that brings Opera to life for children and youth.
Classes and workshops are offered at the facility of our supporter, Cornerstone Music Conservatory 3030 Nebraska Ave, Santa Monica, CA, and at other venues in the Greater LA area.
